Download rawdump 2.0 wii

KomradeNikolai Unregistered. I've got a Windows 8. I've successfully ripped a GameCube game with RawDump 2. When I put a Wii disc in the drive, it spins up the disc to a high speed and after a few seconds, spins down again. After a delay of several seconds, it repeats that. It keeps doing that until I eject the disc. When I do eject the disc, RawDump displays "Wii disc detected" along with the faulty drive message since now there isn't a disc in the drive. KHg8m3r Doesn't sleep, just Dolphin and Robots.

Dumping Wii discs takes more like 5 hours, since they're at least 4. I don't have any to test with. I'd be curious to see documentation on what exactly Nintendo did to make the discs so difficult to read, assuming any such documentation exists. That doesn't really apply. The post also gave me the idea to try compatibility mode. Even more than that, Rawdump will never run more than once without requiring a reboot. Attempting to run it again will do nothing, though it will still show up in Task Manager.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium bit. Update: It seems that Rawdump will run more than once per bootup. I tried repairing. A4play , May 21, But when trying to burn th latest one i get the "fauly drive" error.

I don't understand how my install could all of a sudden be bad or the cable to the disks not work. I also tried doing that put in the cd while the program starts up thing, and it does not seem to work.

After playing with it a bit more, it seems that some games work fine for dumping zelda, shrek , while others give me the "faulty drive" error mortal combat. Anyone have an idea if a new protection is being put on wii games now or something?

For me, i simply removed that jumper. AkiraX82 , Jul 26, This is the problem i am having with rawdump 2. It starts the wii disc dump then approx minutes later rawdump just stops and closes as if it has been closed ,once i click on the rawdump icon to restart it then choose START DUMP it gives me the option to continue last session then it will do exactly the same 25 minutes later so it takes approx 5 -6 attempts until it completes the whole wii disc dump.

I have tried changing the drives from master to slave etc as i have to dvd drives installed also tried running rawdump alone with nothing else running in the background ,tried net framework 3 aswell but still exactly the same problem,it would just be nice to dump the whole wii disc in 1 attempt say during the night! I posted this on another thread but thought my advice would be relevant to other people who are computer newbies.

Make sure all your connections are nice and tight. I still have to see if my backup copy works and can function on my Wii, but if you are one of those people getting the "Error! You might have a Faulty Drive" messages when you use RawDump, check the connections first before you get upset that you got the wrong DVD drive.

I know this is probably common sense for most people, but in case your drive isn't reading the disc during Rawdump and is also not reading anything, this is one easy solution. Also, this brings up the point that for those of you who only have laptops and can't install an LG drive actually into your laptop, an external 5. There's a cheap one at Eaglebit.

LBSurvivr , Aug 5, Again this process takes some time, wait for the message "image successfully unscrambled" and close the window by typing "exit". Thinone , May 19, Bought new box of discs but still no go.

Please help. Sorry I'm new to this so I may seem a bit ignorant. Don't know what chip, how do I find out. No luck here. LOL I have no idea how to ID them without opening up the Wii and finding out or having the presences of mind knowing what the hell is in your Wii.

As far as I am concerned they don't need to use the Modchip if they don't know a simple question as what Modchip they do have. Kind of silly not knowing what your buying when you buy a Wii with a Modchip already installed. There was another member last week that didn't know what they had and used all the setup disc for most common Modchips and never did figure out what 1 it was. He had to contact the person that instaled it to find out. It is kind of hard to help someone when they don't even know what Modchip they have.

So I suggest first figuring out what Modchip you do have. There are a few problems that could be causing this issue. TriKlops , May 21, Hello - A few quick questions: 1 Ive downloaded a huge.
