The grant will fund planning, design, and community engagement activities. These activities include engineering a design for stream bank stabilization and riparian vegetation restoration, creating plans for public access opportunities, and community outreach.
We want to hear from the public concerning what you envision at the project site. At the first workshop, the public can provide input on the goals, objectives, and constraints of the preferred restoration design and recreational opportunities for the project site. The City will host a follow up workshop in Summer following the completion of technical studies and design based on feedback from the first workshop.
