I've cancelled the install until I can work this out. I did this yesterday and it worked. Even Orbx central is still working. This is the only way to do the move imho. On the original location all directories are now hyperlinked to your new drive letter. Plus all your settings remain even your joystick settings. I just tried the same thing and it did The full game is still in my old install folder and nothing seems to have appeared in the new one.

Strangely enough, when I try to do the move again, the system makes is look like the move was successful by only showing me the other drives as options. Do you have any tips? I had to remove al entries with MSfs froma previous install that I quit flying last year. After removing the entries fromthe registry reboot, only then would it let me install.

Woher kommen die dann um das Spiel offline zu starten? Steam regelt das dann und zieht im Zweifelsfall nur einige wenige Daten nach. Ich habe bisher bei jedem Plattenwechsel die Daten stumpf auf die neue Platte kopiert und Steam und damit das Spiel gestartet.

In aller Regel ging das problemlos. Steam zieht sich im Zweifelsfall ein paar Dateien nach, um zu "reparieren". Es geht noch viel einfacher. Da wird auch nichts neu geladen sondern einfach nur kopiert und steam passt die Registrierung direkt mit an. Hat aber leider nicht grklappt. In das hatte ich lange Zeit die Mods kopiert, doch seitens UG wurde gesagt, dass man das "neue" Verzeichnis verwenden solle.
